The Canada Forward Sortation Areas (FSA)
Boundaries were created from DMTI Canada FSA data. Direct marketers and service
industries increasingly use FSAs to target their customers. This is because each
Forward Sortation Area has a specific boundary that allows businesses to
precisely define a market or sales area. FSA boundaries may include
multi-polygon regions, for example two or more polygons forming one
region/entity reflecting the complexity inherent in FSA geography. Generally FSA
boundaries conform to streets, administrative boundaries and other physical
features within CanMap® products. There are 1,618 objects in the Canada Forward
Sortation Areas data.
