Centrus Windpool

Centrus Windpool Boundaries are built using MapInfo
Windpools in the Risk Data Product Suite. It is designed to identify the areas
at high risk for wind and hail damage in the southern and Gulf States, primarily those at risk from
hurricanes using Centrus Spatial+ solutions.
State Windpool Eligibility Zones are coastal areas in the
Southeast Gulf Region that are defined by individual states that make property,
wind or hail insurance available to qualified applicants that are unable to
secure such insurance in the normal insurance market place. Each state's
territory definition may differ by county.
Note:Currently Louisiana is the
only state with two separate Windpool coverage areas,
FAIR Plan and Coastal Plan.
